Here are some lovely pictures. I had created some lovely words as well, easily equal to ‘I wandered lonely as a cloud’, but the the iPhone ate them, and now the only words I have to offer all have 4 letters in them. Your loss I’m afraid. Write to Apple and complain. Or just enjoy the pictures, as much as… Read more »
Today’s setup, this time with the trailer in tow and about 10kgs of payload. Not a great deal, but given the quality of the rough stuff, enough to make life interesting. One thing that I tend to find irritating when using the iPad/iPhone is the spell checker. It does ok 50% of the time, and does stupid things the rest. I don’t know whether to blame the OS or Google Translate, but it is #*%^ing stupid to try spell checking words that are typed in French into English. The app is… Read more »
A damp day, so a good day to go tramp around the religious theme park that is Lourdes. We came for salvation, but this being France in November, everything is shut. Oh well, I’ll just have to live with my sins for a bit longer. How many plastic effigies of the Virgin Mary does one need anyway? And why do… Read more »
