I’ve done nothing to research this, but it echoes my feelings on nuclear. If we don’t need to, why are we doing it? If the fallible human is involved, why are we doing it? And even if we are lucky enough to avoid apparently unaccountable natural disasters, what will we do with the waste product? How will future generations deal with the legacy of the current one?

Human ingenuity is often remarkable, but it nearly always has a cost unimaginable to the inventor.

I am not scared by the fact we are currently expanding nuclear power only a stones throw from my home, but it does bring questions to mine that I doubt anyone will be able to fairly argue for or against. And therein lies the fallibility of mankind.
