Just a quick post with some pictures for the moment of Seville’s Alcazar Palace. Although we wanted to see the cathedral and Giralda tower we were put off by the queues, and decide to go to the Alcazar instead. It’s an amazing place, with many similarities to the Alhambra Palace in Granada. Despite being on a smaller scale than the latter, we wandered and meandered through the myriad of rooms and gardens and loved every minute of it. Great way to spend Kate’s birthday, and our last day in Seville.
We are off towards Madrid today to break up the journey before Mel catches her flight tomorrow evening. Still not sure which way to go (via Cordoba or Extramadura) so watch this space!
