Why is it that every time I start Numbers for iPad, it shows the textured background for a while, then crashes out? I reload and it works. Why this alternate crash nonsense?
I use Numbers to keep spreadsheets of fuel, LPG and battery usage for the van. For something that should be a simple, quick recording of some figures, this becomes seriously annoying quite quickly.
I suspect this might become a series of gripes about Apple. iOS 5 certainly seems to have increased the bug count over previous releases. Keep it simple is what I say – complexity breeds bugs!
If you guys are heading to Biarritz you might want to check out the Thalasotherapy Hotel we stayed at. I would love to tell you what it was called, but neither Rob nor myself can remember. However, it has great facilities as the French, I am sure you know, love being pounded by huge jets of water, whilst wearing a rubber bathing cap.
Seriously though, it is worth a visit if you can find it – also the French football team were staying there so Rob was delighted as he recognised most of them – I was just delighted!
