The One With No Stopping (Nearly)

Out for a walk today, the equivalent of getting back on the bike after the romp along the South West Coast Path. I wanted to do at least 12 miles, and take in some hills, so set off from Old Cleeve towards Roadwater, Chidgley and then on up to Bird Hill (although was going such a pace I forgot to look at the view), then a return via Monksilver, Williton and Watchet.

I decided to be a good boy and avoid the cafe and pub opportunities, kept going except for a brief stop on a bench above Williton to take a much needed drink and snack, and got through 12.7 miles in 4 1/4 hours, which was not far off what I’d hoped for.
