I’m off on a mountain bike trip around the Cabo de Gata, a Natural Park in Spain’s Almeria province. The park is unique within Europe, being comprised of an arid, volcanic landscape, sea-cliffs, volcanic sierra’s and a coastal plain of extensive dunes, stony plateau, small lagoons and salt-pans.
Starting the walk along a dry river bed that takes us into to caldera. I’m expecting Clint Eastwood to appear any minute.
We moved campsites today as expected, so we are now on the southern end of the Parc Natural de la Siera d’Irta, Camping Ribamar. Unfortunately the wifi is poor, or at least the satellite uplink they use is poor.
