Linlithgow and Beescraig Country Park

A lovely little cottage, modern but with some character, and a chance to catch up on the laundry!

Picking the best weather day of the week for a walk, we headed off up a hill for the view, then through the country park. That turned into a bit of and expedition when the path through the forest was blocked by wind blown trees, and we had to scramble for some time over trunks and roots to find a clearer path.

We headed down into Linlithgow for lunch and a mooch up and down the high street, before heading back to the cottage for a welcome and well earned supper.
