Not literally the last lunch, but a chance for a bunch of us to go out and have a treat. A B&B with a lovely simple restaurant, a cool interior away from the heat of the day, and a lovely selection of food and wine to choose from.
Varied antipasti in the from of local cheese and salami that just wanted to melt in the mouth. Mel had the Melanzani Parmigiana, I had the Pasta Nero, and followed it up with meatballs. Restored my faith in Italian cuisine at least.
