Woke this morning to the sound of gunfire. Not the usual rural sound of a shotgun or .22, but automatic weapons, this was machine guns or similar, but large calibre. The town of Biscarrosse-Plage is alongside a large military area, and they were probably range firing into the sea about half a mile away from where we were camped for the night.
Our parking spot was otherwise perfectly fine, with the same group of Motorhomes alongside us as were there last night. Perfect!
