By late afternoon we’d managed to get to our campsite. The first camp site we’ve been to that actually feels like a campsite, or at least one that is open. There’s quite a few people here, I could hear voices till gone one in the morning!
I’d arranged to meet up with [Michael and Katherine of Technomadics](http://technomadics.net/), two Aussies who have been travelling the UK and Europe in their cute little camper ‘Nettle’ for the last 2 and a half years. I can’t remember quite how I first came across their blog, perhaps when we first had the idea of doing a little motorhoming ourselves at the start of 2011. There were a few articles of interest about living on the road, particularly being able to run a [technology business](http://atastypixel.com) and [create art whilst travelling](http://nelliewindmill.com/) that we’re of particular relevance to our situation, and so I’ve followed along over the last year to see how they have even getting along.
It was a great pleasure to see a post a couple of weeks ago from Michael to say that they were headed for the south of France for the winter, and so I dropped them a line to see if they would like to meet up, if we should find ourselves in the same part of the country. They were happy to do so!
Michael and Katherine are a charming couple, we provided some food and they provided some wine, and between us polished off a goodly quantity of France’s favourite export. Great fun, and the first time in a month that we’ve found others to socialise with! Thanks, let’s do it again!
