We slept well overnight and woke to find our selves sailing through the gap between Corsica and Sardinia. The crossing was perfectly calm throughout, like the proverbial mill pond.
We only had to endure the rest of the day in the ships lounge which has the worlds most uncomfortable seats. Very few other people bothered joining us. There weeny many people on board, maybe a dozen travellers and 50 lorry drivers, so most of the time it was like the Marie Celeste.
Darkness fell as we approached the Spanish mainland, so no views to report on. We could be anywhere. The Italian signage seems no better than the Spanish, so perhaps we didn’t even leave?
Glad you got there safely. Weather horrendous here, 80mph winds and torrential rain. xx
