All day we’ve had some pretty spectacular skies. It’s been cloudier than normal although still warm, around 20 degrees. The local mountains seem adept at creating [lenticular clouds](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenticular_cloud) and we’ve had a few of them mixed in today with the rest. The picture is the remnants of an earlier Lenticular formation.
The sunset was both spectacular, and foreboding. Our German neighbours were warning of a stormy night, and the forecast is for wind but nothing we’ve not had so far, not exactly a storm, but then taking a look at the skies this evening, we might not be here (or anywhere this side of the rainbow) by the morning.
Fantastic!
