Taking advantage of reasonable weather and exceptionally pretty countryside, it was time to get out for a walk. 15 miles, skirting below Stiperstones and past Bog Village, a lovely loop across lumpy countryside.
A short refresher at The Crown Inn in Wentnor, before a long climb up onto Long Mynd. Sadly, we times the summit with a shower that killed the visibility and so didn’t get to appreciate the view.
Once back in the valley we took shelter in The Bridges pub, before dragging ourselves away from the idea of an evening in the pub. Climbing back up towards Stiperstones the sun cam back out for some lovely views back towards Long Mynd.
