Loch Fyne

A breakdown. Not emotionally, we are both just fine, but the van decided it wanted a holiday of its own and decided it needed the van equivalent of a Spa break.

It was nice enough to come to a halt in the car park of the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and Restaurant, so there is an upside. Sunday was an extremely laid back day. Well, we didn’t have much choice. Honest.

This morning we were conveyed by transporter to Helensborough and a garage who will give the van its own rub down with an oily rag. We’ll head into Glasgow for a bit of culture. With any luck, van will be back in fine fettle by Wednesday latest.

All part of life’s rich tapestry!

  1. Dave,
Thanks so much for your bluetooth keyboard trick.. I was ready to give up and buy a new one since it just stopped working.. I tried your re-sync trick and it didn’t work the first time but did the second time.. I am so relieved. Steve

  2. Dave, Hello, I am new to your site. Got here because of my Magic Mouse that has decided to be anything bust magic. Anyway, that’s another story. Due to my curiosity, I am browsing your other pages. Very interesting and zen! Just note the 4th photo of your collection here is upside down. At least I think it is. Have you taken it while you’re doing a backflip 🙂 ?
