The stretch between Aubisque and Soulor is really pretty tame when used to cycling on Exmoor. The scenery here wins mind you, although I found the flora very similar to Exmoor and the Quantocks. The Cirque de Litor is a thin strip of Tarmac that hugs the sheer mountain side, with a couple of tunnels bashed through to rock where necessary. This stretch of road is closed to all traffic from November to May, which means if your naughty like me, you get 6 miles of road all to yourself! Cycling playground!
