An unexpected gale leads to a sleepless last night on the Costa Tropical, but the following days drive north through to Alpajurras hills towards Granada is a striking combinations of vertiginous mountain passes and rolling plains with the Sierra Nevada as a backdrop.
With Wifi sorted out, and a little work caught up on, we had a little time to get out on the bikes to explore the Costa Tropical coastline. A windy, steep coast road hugs the dramatic coastline with distant views towards Nerja.
Wild camping is quite acceptable if you don’t mind things that go woof in the night, and cycling with your chemical toilet (or comically long arms). And watch out for soft ground. And make sure your inverter is working properly. And don’t get your blog hacked at the same time. Other than that, piece of cake!
