The picture shows viaducts built for both the new (left) and old (right) railway lines spanning opposite ends of a small valley. The old railway line then disappears into a fairly long tunnel, about 400 metres long (just out of shot on the left of the picture). Unfortunately the automatic lighting wasn’t working well. I was obviously triggering sensors as I cycled through that activated the lights but they would only stay on for about 3 seconds at a time, so most of the time I was in darkness and relying on what I could see of the floor for the short spell the lights were on. But no mishaps do all was well.
