After the cycling adventure we decided against staying by the lake for the night. Being in a steep sided valley the sun had gone early leaving the place feeling somewhat chilly and less inviting. So we drove up the valley towards the Spanish border and the Col de Portalet. With the sun starting to get low in the sky it created some lovely light and the valley itself was very picturesque!
