Farindola – That’s all folks

No Comments on Farindola – That’s all folks

And so it ends. After just over two weeks in Farindola, it’s time to leave. The last night was subdued, some of our fellow artists had already departed, but those left over made the most of the last night of the Pecorino e Pecorini festival. Yes another band played but few were dancing, although we all had at least itchy… Read more »

Farindola – The Judgement of Solomon

There’s a house in Farindola that used to be a palace. Inside the living room is a fresco dating from the 13th century and depicting The Judgement of Solomon. A couple of us had seen it earlier in the week, but the family were kind enough to open it up for a larger group. There are frescos on the walls… Read more »

Farindola – Pecorino e Pecorini

We passed by the town of Castel del Monte, which was badly affected by the earthquake that hit the region in 2009 and… Read more »

Farindola – Life Modelling Results

No Comments on Farindola – Life Modelling Results

After an hour and a half in the hot seat, here’s the results of the life modelling. You’ll be pleased to see that they’ve spared you the ‘choicest cuts’. I think they’ve all captured something of me, with Prabin’s oil perhaps being the closest to how I see myself. Very pleased with the results, and it was a fun thing… Read more »

Farindola – Day Whatever

No Comments on Farindola – Day Whatever

It’s official, we’ve now entered the zone. The one where it all feels like it’s always been this way. So much so that some people are starting to look at the empty properties and wondering how to make this more permanent. Not us I hasten to add, but we would consider a longer residency at a slightly more temperate time… Read more »
